Prototype?
Not much is known about this sax but it plays like a dream and is in remarkable condition. It has been well looked after with new cork, pads and all original mother of pearl key inlays. Every mechanism and spring works. It has a nice warm tone and accurate intonation. The only markings on it are 'LOW PITCH' and a serial number 161011. The research I have done lead me to believe that it was made in the early 1920s. Comes with newer Yamaha mouthpiece and case. Shipping included. View pictures at: www.originalfire.ca/sax.html 1899
